Thanks a bunch for visiting my Pick a Peck of Pixels and for the comment. Sometimes I don't know what to post each day but it is usually something that I just took a picture of that caught my eye. This post was of something that I used to spend lots of time on. Learning as much as possible about Medieval Manuscript decoration and illumination. I even wrote a book about it but it is done and still in my desk drawer.
The RINO label fits some more than others. I don't know of a single one that gets my vote. I don't know what happened to the conservatives in America but they seem to be aligned with those who seem bent on destroying democracy in favor of something I don't understand. What cellar did Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin crawl out of. I can't imagine any of them running this country yet they seem to speak for the party. I don't think that is right either.
I do like the picture of the coast. It is about as accurate in color as anything I have seen today.

The Big South, certainly one of the world's most beuatiful highway roads! No doubt, when you see these pictures!
Another fine coastal photo! Looks like "Redwood" likes to take to the road more than «Louis» does.

Highway 1 is a treasure although as a kid I got seasick riding from LA north in the car!
