Une tour du pont dans la distance
A tower of the bridge in the distance

In the morning haze on the Bay, in the distance, left center, the northern tower of the Golden Gate Bridge is seen. The northern shore of Angel Island is on the left.
Bonjour, Marie - "Louis' knows what you see in the image, in the right center near the shore of Angel Island, but to the left of the sailboats. "Louis" isn't certain, but thinks it is a navigational marker in the water. There is a lot of ship traffic in this part of the bay - tankers going to the Chevron, Valero, Shell and Union 76 refineries, car carriers to Richmond, etc.
Shoot, I was hoping to see that there was fog in your photo, so I could maybe sleep better tonight in North Berkeley. But this is a wonderful photo though!
Five dollar per gallon gasoline is still half of what it sells for in Italy. As long as Dasani water is more expensive than gasoline, (and STILL SELLING LIKE HOTCAKES! grr) I have no sympathy!
Only when the price rises to 12 dollars per gallon will us North Americans get our fingers out of our butts and really truly conserve oil instead of just paying lip service to the problem!
I do visit and I do comment and I was here. I did look at your picture(s) and I did read what you wrote about them. I could say how great you are and how beautiful your work is but alas I would soon run out of things to say on the next blog I visited, so I just left this to prove I stopped and said a few words on Sunday.
My Rheumatoid Arthritis hurts so I am using the same message for all.

I am having a "jaws" moment. What is lurking in that water!
